Seasonal Markets 2021. Our hall board plans to hold two markets this year - Autumn Fire on 11th April and Spring Harvest on 17th October. These seasonal night markets will be open from 4pm to 7 pm. So put these two dates aside:

April 11th
October 17th
Please note these dates are subject to change due to extenuating circumstances eg COVID 19 restrictions otherwise we are a go ahead rain or shine market.  We are a cash only sales market. Stallholders can book now on [email protected]  - please do not use any other email address to book a stall. In order to speed up the booking process please email the following: Name, contact number, what you want to sell and whether you want an inside or outside site. This market goes ahead rain or shine and sites need to be prepaid and will not be refunded if the stallholder pulls out of the market.

Our focus is on quality, artisanal, ethnic and home made produce and products. We welcome stallholders to our market. Priority is given for residents of Awakaponga and its immediate surrounds in the first instance, however if you live further afield and are interested in having a stall we would love to receive an expression of interest from you. W e encourage the selling of your own products and produce. The selling of raffle tickets is prohibited due to the fact that we often have our own hall raffle at the market. The market is a fundraiser for the Awakaponga Hall and stallholder fees and money received from the hall raffle go directly towards the upkeep of our hall. We always desire to have arrange of vendors to keep the market's customers stimulated. Interest from those who wish to sell food are welcome. Food regulations apply.

Stalls are $20. You will need to bring your own trestle and gazebo for outside. Your booking is not confirmed until your payment has been made.  Your booking fee is non refundable unless we have to cancel the market due to COVID 19 restrictions. This procedure is to discourage stallholders booking a space and not turning up. Indoor spaces can also be booked and  four trestles are available to be booked on a first come first served basis for an additional $3. Sites needing to use the hall's power are $25. Due to the unusual configuration of our outside space, we are unable to accommodate food trucks or large trailers (excepting one coffee truck and one ice cream truck)  We encourage actual stalls... don't hesitate to inquire if you are interested in having a stall. We would love to hear from you.

Educational Stall

We want to support one local early childhood centre or school at the market to run a sausage sizzle to help with their fundraising efforts. Do make contact soon if you would like to take us up on this opportunity.

Musicians

There are slots for busking musicians. Please make contact if you would like to book your space. We offer a $75 retainer as we really appreciate a live musician travelling for our markets. For all stall bookings contact Caterina Murphy, Hall Secretary on [email protected]
