Refurbished during the 2019-2020 period, our hall is available for individuals and groups to book for functions and events,such as weddings, birthdays, funerals, meetings, hobby and sports groups, youth groups and small conference groups. This is a fully equipped hall, with a two oven kitchen, pie warmer and fridge/freezer and bathroom facilities, parking space, an outside covered porch area and heating. Beautiful panel lighting with dimmer light options and a separate room with a bar facility. Both male and female toilets are available separately and these include disability facilities. The hall floor is marked to cater for badminton. Seating caters for up to 100 people (maximum) through a range of round and rectangular tables. Overnight stays at the hall are not permitted. Furniture and fittings are not to be removed from the hall. Hire of the hall is at the discretion of the Board. The hall's tables and chairs are not available for hire or loan into the Awakaponga community.

Funerals $100 (Includes crockery hire)
1 day hire = $200 + GST (eg Saturday morning to midday Sunday)
2 day hire = $350 + GST (eg midday Friday to midday Sunday)
3 day hire = $500 + GST (eg midday Thursday to midday Sunday)
Hourly rate $20 + GST - no booking fee applicable
Bond = $200 for low risk functions and $750 for high risk functions (eg a 21st or teenage party). Events deemed as high risk will also require pre-approval from 2 other Board members.
Booking fee = $50 + GST. The booking fee will be deducted from your overall hire fee. In the event that the hall booking is cancelled this is not refunded.
Bond for Heat Pump Remote = $100
Crockery and glasses hire = $30 + GST
